Masuwe Lodge is located on the Masuwe River on the Masuwe
estate, which is situated 10 kilometres from the centre of Victoria
Falls, 3 km’s off the Airport road.

Accommodation:- Masuwe Lodge
accommodates 20 guests. There is one double and six twin-bedded
canvas under thatch chalets with en-suite shower, toilet and hand
basin. One Executive Honeymoon chalet with en-suite shower, toilet
and hand basin. Also a private deck overlooking virgin bush. All
chalets have a veranda with deck chairs and a private view of
the bush.
Activities:- Morning and evening
Game drives into the Chamaponda National Park located along the
north Western border of the Estate. Visits to the “Victoria Falls”.
Elephant back safaris are done on the estate, so are easily accessible.
The Lion Encounter is done on the estate. Adventure activities
such as white water rafting, canoeing, elephant back rides, riverboarding,
bungi jumping, abseiling, gorge swings, microlighting and helicopter
flights etc. can be booked whilst staying at Masuwe, but are all
at an extra cost – prices on request. We can also arrange day
trips to Chobe National Park on request.
Wildlife:- Common sightings on
the estate are kudu, impala, zebra, wildebeest, bush buck, buffalo,
Elephants, leopards and a wide variety of birds.
Access:- Clients can fly into either Livingstone
or Victoria Falls International Airport where they will be met
and transferred by road to the lodge which is situated approximately
twenty minutes drive from the Victoria Falls Airport, including
customs and immigration formalities at both border posts. It is
approximately forty minutes from Livingstone Airport. Clients
may also self-drive direct to the lodge, directions available
on request.
Child Policy:- Children U12 on request, on condition
that parents are made fully aware, that the lodge does have wild
animals roaming around the grounds at various times of the day
and night, and that they will be required to sign an Indemnity
Form for each child. Parents should also be requested to ensure
that their children behave appropriately as there may be other
paying guests.
Power supply:- There is 24 hour
electricity to all rooms. |
