Location:- Tangala House is a large and unique family home located on the banks of the Zambezi River, 15 km upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, with incredible sunsets across the Zambezi and looking onto the Zambezi National Park. Stylishly built and furnished with a recent feature in the UK House and Garden magazine, Tangala sleeps eight and makes an ideal stay for a family holiday, coming fully serviced and staffed by Tongabezi Lodge.

Accommodation:- Tangala has four bedrooms, three of which are en suite, a fourth bathroom, a separate loo, a spacious kitchen/dining room, children's playroom, living room opening onto a thatch veranda, a "snuggery" with fireplace and a 12m swimming pool. The house is ideal for families and is designed to keep insects out, with glass windows all round. Large herds of elephant often come down to drink on the opposite bank and hippopotamus are regularly seen and heard. There is fantastic birdlife, with over 145 species to date spotted from the kitchen window.

Activities:- From Tangala you can explore the Zambezi by banana boat with your own professional guide who can take you walking on islands in the river, game viewing and bird watching. Or relax and have a "waitered" picnic lunch set up for you on your own Zambezi Island. You can do a morning’s canoeing, or even a full day with your guide. Try fishing for the magnificent tiger fish, with fly or spinner. All of this from your own doorstep.

Wildlife:- For the wildlife enthusiast, there is so much on offer. The Zambezi National Park is on the opposite bank, with large numbers of elephant, buffalo, waterbuck and impala to be seen coming down to the river.

Power supply:- There is 24 hour electricity to all rooms.
